Who is responsible

This website is operated by Sérgio Fernandes, trading as Databridge Consulting, based in Porto, Portugal. For any privacy question, write to the email address shown on the contact page.

What data is collected

If you email me, I receive your email address, name and whatever you write. I use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to carry out the work. I keep it for as long as needed for that purpose or to meet legal obligations.

The website itself has no forms, accounts or comment features, and it does not set cookies unless you accept analytics.

Analytics and cookies

If you choose "Accept analytics", the site loads Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) and collects data about your visit, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. This helps me understand which content is useful.

If you choose "Decline", Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Google may process this data outside the European Union. Analytics data is kept for the period configured in the Google Analytics account, up to 14 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
